Kraków is situated in the in southern Poland, not far from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Kraków is very easy to reach by car, train or airplane.
You can reach Kraków using different airports but we recommend Kraków International Airport (KRK). In order to travel from the airport to Kraków center a couple of options can be considered: there is a train from Kraków Airport to Kraków Główny Train Station or you can take a taxi. Krakow is one of Poland’s main railroad junctions. Railway connections are available to most Polish cities, e.g. Katowice, Wrocław, Poznań and Warszawa. International destinations include Bratislava, Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Hamburg, Lviv, Kiev. The main railway station is located just outside the Old Town District (and 10 minutes walk from CUE campus) and is well-served by public transport.
