GAMENET Training School Kraków

September 17-18, 2018

TRAINING SCHOOL

One of the main objectives of CA16228 GAMENET is to initiate novel transdisciplinary research links with academia and industrial stakeholders and to prepare competitive EU researchers for a fruitful career in an international environment and joint educational programs with industrial partners. To meet these objectives the Core Group of GAMENET is organizing its first training school on various cutting edge applications of game theory in engineering and economics.

The training school will be hosted by Cracow University of Economics from September 17 to September 18 2018. It is preceding the annual Action conference, also organized by the Cracow University of Economics.

How to apply?

If you are interested in attending the training school or the Action conference, please fill the registration form here. We will write you back with further details needed in the process of application.

Industrial partners session

We are currently setting up a satellite event of the training school with speakers representing our industrial partners (you can find their list here), who will give a short overview of their daily work and how they use game theory to solve different business problems. Full list of companies involved in this event will be published at the training school website as soon as the list is confirmed.

Poster session

Post-Docs and PhD students will have a unique opportunity to present a poster on their research during the training school. We kindly ask participants of training school interested in presenting a poster to send a 4-page long abstract to gamenet.applications@uek.krakow.pl no later than August 5. We will announce the list of accepted posters no later than August 15.
